IIT JAM 2024 Admission List: Steps to check
Candidates can check the IIT JAM 2024 admission list by logging into the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal using their enrollment ID or email ID and password or by following this step by step guide:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024 https://jam.iitm.ac.in/
Step 2: Locate and click on the link : JAM 2024 First Admission Offer List is released’
Step 3: Enter your e-mail ID / enrolment ID / mobile No / registration No. and password
Step 4: Enter the correct mathematical expression
Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’

IIT JAM 2024 Counselling Schedule
Candidates who are on the JAM 2024 merit list are eligible to apply for admission.
Check the following schedule for the JAM 2024 counseling process:
Seat Booking and Fee Payment for IIT JAM 2024
For each round of admissions, candidates must choose one of three options:
Accept and Freeze: Secure the seat and not participate in further rounds.
Accept and Upgrade: Accept the current seat but remains open to upgrading to a preferred course or institution in subsequent rounds.
Reject and Quit: Opt out of the counseling process altogether.
Candidates who accept their allotted seats must pay the IIT JAM 2024 seat booking fee to confirm their admission. The fees are categorized as follows:
General and Other Backward Classes (OBC): Rs 10,000
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH): Rs 5,000
Candidates must log in to the portal to view their status and make their selection within the given time. If seats remain vacant after the first round, subsequent admission lists will be prepared.
IIT JAM: Required Documents for 2024 Admission
Candidates need to submit the following documents during the CAP application to the final seat allotment process:
- IIT JAM Scorecard
- IIT JAM Application Form
- IIT JAM Admit Card
- Provisional seat allotment/offer letter
- Class 10 Certificate
- Class 12 Mark sheet
- Mark sheets of all semesters/years of the qualifying degree
- Aadhar Card
- Category Certificate for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, and ST candidates (For reserved category candidates)
- PwD Certificate for PwD applicants
