NEW DELI: India Post is scheduled to close down the online registration process for Gramin Dak Sewak, GDS Recruitment 2023 today, August 23. Interested candidates are advised to complete the registration before the end of the deadline on the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
The online application form for India Post GDS Recruitment 2023, started on August 03. The application process is open for eligible candidates for the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Dak Sevaks. The application correction window for registered candidates will open on August 24 and close on August 26.
Age Limit
The applicants must be between the age of 18 to 40 years of age. However, age relaxation is available to the candidates of reserved categories.
Educational Qualification
Applicants for GDS 2023 are required to hold a 10th-grade secondary school examination certificate. Additionally, they should have successfully cleared the examinations in Mathematics and English, which must be conducted by a recognized Board of School Education under the Government of India, State Governments, or Union Territories in India.

Selection Process
The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system-generated merit list. The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.
