Indian Navy Recruitment 2024: Registration begins for 254 SSC executive posts |

NEW DELHI: The Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the Short Service Commission (SSC) officers posts. As per the schedule, the registration window has opened today, February 24, candidates who are interested and wish to apply can visit the official website at joinindiannavy.gov.in and submit their application forms.
The application window will be closed on March 10, 2024. This recruitment process is open for unmarried men and women who want to join the executive, education, and technical branches of the Indian Navy. The course will begin in January 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Step 1: Go to the official website at joinindiannavy.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link available for Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2024.
Step 3: A registration window will appear on the screen, fill in your personal details.
Step 4: Once done, now log in using the created credentials.
Step 5: In the application form, key in all the details such as personal, professional and educational information.
Step 7: Upload the documents, as asked and make the payment of online application fees.
Step 8: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 254 posts of SSC officers under the executive, education, and technical branches.
Applicants who qualify will be granted a short service commission for an initial duration of 10 years, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 4 years in two terms. The decision to extend will be contingent upon service needs, individual performance, medical eligibility, and the willingness of the candidates.
Following the submission of applications, candidates will undergo a shortlisting process based on their marks in the qualifying degree. Subsequently, shortlisted candidates are obligated to partake in the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview. The ultimate selection will be determined through a merit list, taking into account the candidates’ performance during the SSB interview.
Who Can Apply?

  • Candidates who have graduated/ post-graduated or in the final year with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

  • The university for the above mentioned should be incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities/Autonomous Universities under UGC Act 1956; IIT Act, 1961; AICTE Act, 1987; NITSER Act, 2007;IIIT Act, 2014.
