Since its inception in 2008, over 60 foreign companies have used ANSR’s services to set up shop in India. But why is Accenture buying into a company that is setting up its rivals?

Infosys must be kicking itself. In 2016, the Bengaluru-headquartered IT services company had put in USD1.4 million from its then-USD500 million innovation fund into ANSR Consulting Holding. However, it sold the stake at a loss in 2017, when the company unwound its investments made under former CEO Vishal Sikka.
