Ipsy teams up with Patrick Starrr for exclusive icon box

Beauty membership Ipsy announced on Tuesday that beauty creator and brand founder Patrick Starrr will curate the May Icon Box. 

Ipsy’s Icon Box, offered exclusively to Glam Bag and BoxyCharm by Ipsy subscribers, is a coveted quarterly upgrade curated by leading names and brands in the beauty industry. 

Previous curators include the likes of Patrick Ta, Khloé Kardashian, Alicia Keys, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Each limited-edition collection includes insider access to eight top-tier products valued at up to $350, all for just $60.

The Icon Box by Patrick Starrr, set to launch on May 1st, will feature brands, like Fenty Skin, Benefit Cosmetics, Kosas, and his own brand One/Size. Of the eight products in the Icon Box, five will be personally chosen by Starrr, while members will have the opportunity to select three from a personalized assortment curated by Ipsy’s expert team using their proprietary AI technology.

Starrr, a trailblazer in the beauty industry, shared his journey towards embracing makeup and the inspiration behind his passion. 

“Growing up, I was so intrigued with the idea of transformation, but I thought I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup,” said Starrr. “I’m advocating for myself and the unseen and unheard. It’s about being able to define yourself on your own terms.”
