IT’S BACK, at last, although for some it had never been away.
The Scottish Cup fourth round marks the return of action for teams in the SPFL Premiership.
The winter break is over and it’s back into the cut and thrust of Scottish football action… although for the lower leagues the game was never gone.
The likes of Dumbarton kept their matches flowing throughout the last month and they’ll be ready for the big visit of Rangers this weekend.
Stevie Farrell has some goalkeeping issues ahead of what is already daunting task for the League Two team against the Glasgow giants.
He’s called for a review of the loan market rules around the competition and will field Harry Broun between the sticks against Philippe Clement’s side.

Team news
Stevie Farrell is without first-choice Dumbarton goalkeeper Brett Long who sustained a broken leg.
He replaced him with Rangers youngster Jay Hogarth – but Scottish Cup rules forbid him from playing against his parent club, so Harry Broun will play instead.
For the Gers, Philippe Clement’s long injury list has shrunk, and the midweek friendly draw with FC Copenhagen at Ibrox saw the return of Tom Lawrence, Borna Barisic and Ryan Jack.
Kemar Roofe, Ben Davies and Kieran Dowell are all out.
