Sydney radio queen Jackie O Henderson has spilled on details of her Will and who she will be leaving her huge fortune to.
The 49-year-old reportedly earns $10 million a year as a host on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM and told her listeners on Thursday she will be leaving her entire estate to daughter Kitty.
Henderson said she would want to ensure her 13-year-old would have the best start to her career and adult life.
“I feel that way, I couldn’t imagine not leaving everything to my daughter. Why wouldn’t I want to give her the best start in life?” she said.
However, Henderson added there would be some rules to ensure Kitty’s inheritance wasn’t drained immediately.
“She can’t just have it all at once. She can’t be 18 and have everything, I don’t want that. I’m going to drip-feed her,” she said.
“When you are 18 or 21 you are not that sensible with money. She gets some at 18, then at 25 and all of it at 30.”
Her confession came after Sandilands said he wasn’t a fan of celebrities who left their entire fortune to charity, insisting they should be setting up their children financially.
Last year, Jackie O was believed to have a net worth of more than $50 million, according to Yahoo Lifestyle.
Henderson signed a $200 million 10-year contract with Sandilands, which will see The Kyle and Jackie O Show expand into Melbourne.
As one of the biggest radio names in media, it seems her teenage daughter is keen to follow in her famous mum’s footsteps.
At the ACRA Awards in October, Henderson revealed Kitty had a blossoming passion for the media industry.
“I would actually be happy for her to pursue (a job in the media) if that’s what she wanted,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“She comes into work (at KIIS) and loves answering phones and helping out because she loves the environment.”
Henderson shares Kitty with her ex-husband Lee Henderson, to whom she was married between 2003 and 2018.
