James Tedesco and wife Maria share beautiful family news

Sydney Roosters captain James Tedesco and his wife Maria have welcomed their first child together.

Maria gave birth to daughter Rosie Mae on Thursday.

The couple made the announcement in a joint social media post on Saturday morning.

“Our beautiful little Rosie Mae Tedesco. Born 21/9/23 Mum and bub both happy and healthy ❤️,” the couple wrote on Instagram, with the post including photos of their young family.

The couple, who married in January and announced their pregnancy in April, were flooded with well wishes from family and friends following the arrival of their baby girl.

Tedesco, who also captains the NSW Blues and Australia, endured a disappointing end to his season as the Roosters suffered a 18-13 semi-final loss to the Melbourne Storm in week two of the finals series.

The 30-year-old is expected to get picked in the Kangaroos team for the end of season Pacific Championships as Australia take on Samoa and New Zealand.
