NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is set to conduct the JEE Advanced 2024 tomorrow, May 26. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced 2024 must be immersed in the last minute preparation during this time. However, it is important for them to be aware of exam day guidelines, download the admit card and get its printout.
The JEE (Advanced) 2024 Paper 1 will take place from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by Paper 2 from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.
The performance of a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2024 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelors, Integrated Masters, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs in the academic year 2024-25.
JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
► Candidates must present their JEE Advanced 2024 admit card and a valid ID proof to enter the examination hall.
► Organise all necessary documents and stationery the day before to avoid any last-minute rush.
► Arrive at least 60 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card.
► Nothing will help you secure admission to the IITs except your hard work and dedication. During the last week of preparation for JEE Advanced 2024, focus on strengthening your strong points.
► Given the high temperatures, try to stay cool and calm to avoid health issues that could affect your performance in JEE Advanced 2024. Avoid social gatherings and maintain social distancing.
► Maintain a timely and healthy sleep pattern to stay stress-free. A healthy and alert mind is essential for optimal performance on the day of the exam.
JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Pattern
The JEE (Advanced) 2024 will comprise two question papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each with a duration of three hours. It is mandatory to appear for both papers. Each paper will have three separate sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The questions are designed to assess candidates’ comprehension, reasoning, and analytical abilities. Some questions may have negative marking for incorrect answers, with details of the marking scheme outlined in the “Instructions to Candidates” section during the examination.
