NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to close the registration window for JEE Mains 2024 tomorrow, December 3. Interested candidates who have not applied can still apply for the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2024 by visiting the official website of NTA JEE Mains at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Once the registration window is closed, the JEE Mains 2024 session 1 application correction window will open on December 6, 2023.Candidates will be able to modify and edit their particulars in the application form. The last date to make changes to the form is December 8, 2023.

How to apply for JEE Mains 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link – “JEE(Main) 2024 Registration open (Click Here)” to apply.
Step 3: A new window will open, enter your login details and submit.
Step 4: Proceed with filling out the application form and upload all the required documents.
Step 5: Make the payment of application fees.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and get its hard copy for further use.

The exam will be held in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
To register for the January 2024 JEE Mains examination, candidates need to have finished their Class 12 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects. For admission consideration to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, applicants from the general and OBC categories are required to achieve a minimum of 75% in their Class 12 examinations. Meanwhile, SC and ST candidates must attain a minimum of 65% in their Class 12 results to be eligible for admission.
Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main) 2024 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later by CSAB/JoSAA. The authentication/verification of relevant documents in support of identification, date of birth, qualifying examination, State of eligibility, category, and disability (if any) of the qualifying candidates would be done at the time of the Seat Allocation/ admission process. On failing to produce any of the authentic documents, the candidate may not be considered for admission.
