JEE Main 2024 session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Exam City Slip for the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2024 session 1, on its official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Candidates who are registered to appear for the upcoming exam can now check their allotted examination city. According to the notice, the Advance city intimation slip released by the NTA, is only for B Arch and B Planning programmes for now.
The NTA also released information regarding the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1. The examination will take place at various centers across the country, including cities outside India. The notice stated, “..on 24th January (2nd Shift) for B.Arch. & B.Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B) and 27, 29, 30, 31st January and 1st February, 2024 for B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1). “
Candidates will be required to log into the examination portal of JEE, hosted by the NTA using their credentials such as application number, date of birth, course name and the security pin. After submitting these details, they will be able to check their allotted city mentioned in the intimation slip.
The NTA stated in its notice that, “Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for the exam to be held on 24th January, 2024 has been hosted. The candidates can download the same from website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.”

Follow this step by step guide to download the examination city slip:
Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA JEE Main exam at – jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, under ‘public notices’, Look for the option saying “Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City to the Applicants for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024”. The notice will be displayed as a PDF on your screen.
Step 3: On the homepage again, under ‘Latest News’ banner, look for the link stating Download Advance City Intimation for B.Arch. & B.Planning only (Click Here). Click on the link.
Step 4: Enter your details- Application number, date of birth, course and the security pin. Then click on submit.
Step 5: Your advance city intimation slip will be visible on screen. However, please note that it has only been issued for B Arch annd B Planning courses only.
Step 6: Download and keep a copy for future reference.
