NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday revised the date for JEE Main Answer Key Challenge 2024. According to the official notice released, the schedule has been revised due to a technical glitch in the server.
The JEE Mains 2024 objection window will remain opened till February 9. Earlier, the last date to submit challenges against the provisional answer key was February 8 and now the date has been extended by one day.
The JEE Main Session 1 Answer Key 2024 was released on Tuesday, February 6. Candidates who appeared in the engineering entrance examination can download the provisional answer key of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) along with the question papers with recorded responses from the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the JEE Main answer key may submit the challenge online by paying non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200/- per question challenged as per the procedure.

JEE Main Answer Key Challenge 2024: Steps to raise objection
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key.’
Step 3: Now login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and submit.
Step 4: Click on ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key.’
Step 5: You will see the Question IDs for JEE (Main) 2024 Session 1 (January 2024).
Step 6: The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key by NTA.
Step 7: If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
Step 8: You may upload supporting documents.
Step 9: After clicking your desired option, for Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Mathematics / Aptitude Test for Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Mathematics / Aptitude Test / Planning for Paper 2B (B.Planning), scroll down and ‘Save you claim’.
Step 10: You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged, now click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally.’

Should a candidate’s challenge be deemed valid, the Answer Key will undergo revision, and the adjustments will be applied uniformly to all candidates’ responses. The final result will be formulated and announced based on the revised Answer Keys. Individual candidates will not receive specific notifications regarding the acceptance or non-acceptance of their challenges. The keys, ultimately approved by experts following the resolution of challenges, will be considered final.
It shall be noted that those candidates who might have challenged without the appropriate Question ID / Option ID, may challenge again. Their former fees will be refunded soon. These candidates have also been informed through e-mail / SMS.
