IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024 Registration Begins: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has opened applications for unmarried Indian male and female candidates interested in joining as musicians under the 01/2025 intake scheme. The application window is set from May 22 (11 am) to June 5 (11 pm) on agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007 (inclusive).
  • Candidates must have completed matriculation or class 10 or an equivalent qualification from a government-recognised school.
  • Candidates must possess proficiency in music, demonstrating accuracy in tempo, pitch, and the ability to sing one complete song.
  • They should also be capable of performing a preparatory tune and any notations, such as Staff notation, Tablature, Tonic Solfa, Hindustani, or Carnatic. Additionally, candidates must be able to tune individual instruments if required and match unknown notes, either vocally or instrumentally.
  • Furthermore, candidates must exhibit proficiency in playing at least one instrument from either List A or List B. While proficiency in playing two instruments (one from each list) is desirable, it is not mandatory.

  • Clarinet in Eb / Bb.
  • Saxophone in Eb / Bb.
  • French Horn in F / Bb.
  • Trumpet in Eb / C / Bb.
