JoSAA Counselling Schedule Revised Datesheet 2023: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has revised the counselling dates. If going by the JoSAA revised counselling schedule, the last day to respond to queries against Round 6 and the final round of seat allocation for IITs will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023. One can view the revised date sheet by visiting the official website – josaa.nic.in. At the time of document verification, if the document verification officer raises any query, the candidate must respond in online mode (through the candidate portal) within the stipulated time.
Failure to respond to the query(ies) on time will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat and the candidate will no longer be able to participate in the JoSAA 2023 process. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the online portal at regular intervals of time and respond to queries (if any) without fail within the stipulated time. Document verification is done ONLY for those candidates who have successfully paid the seat acceptance fee.

Seat will be confirmed by IITs / NIT+ System Institutes only after successful verification of the uploaded documents and ensuring that the candidate meets all the eligibility criteria.
If all the documents are found to be valid and all the eligibility criteria are met by the candidate, the allocated seat will be provisionally confirmed and the candidate will be notified on the online JoSAA 2023 portal. If all the documents are found to be valid and the eligibility criteria are met by the candidate, a “Provisional Seat Allotment letter” will be available for download on the online portal.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38-Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partilly by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
