Eligibility
Candidates who wish to apply for, are required to meet the following criteria:
Age:
- Above the age of 22 years and below 35 years of age as on August 31, 2023.
- Age relaxation for upper limit by 3 years has been granted for Female candidates, or candidates falling under the SC and ST categories.
Qualification:
- A candidate must be a Graduate in Law from a recognized University and enrolled as an advocate, till the last date of submission of application form.
Syllabus:
The main examination is subjective in nature, and shall consist of four language papers of 100 marks each. The duration of the main test shall be three hours for each paper, and appearing in all the papers is compulsory.

Additionally, if the number of candidates is very huge, and the Hon’ble
Jharkhand High Court deems that a preliminary Entrance Test is necessary to limit the candidates for the Main Examination, the Commission shall conduct a preliminary Entrance Test.
The Preliminary Entrance Test will be followed by the Main Examination and Viva Voce in order to make direct recruitment to the advertised vacancy.
