Julia Sarr-Jamois opens creative agency

Julia Sarr-Jamois — the style-focused editor, model and street style favourite — has co-founded a new agency for creatives called Best Represents, working along with agent and producer Rhia Nottingham.

It aims to be a “a pioneering agency dedicated to representing talent both behind and in front of the camera. By taking a holistic approach to talent management, Best Represents promotes its artists as both brand ambassadors and creative forces, reshaping the landscape of the fashion industry”.

The company said it has “a unique perspective that combines extensive experience in artist and talent management [and] offers a unified vision that bridges editorial and commercial opportunities. The agency’s innovative strategy is designed to elevate the profiles of its artists, amplifying their influence and setting new standards for success in the fashion world”.

It’s clearly something that will be on the radar of major fashion and beauty brands and its clients include Sarr-Jamois herself, who’s fashion director at British Vogue and was senior fashion editor at i-D Magazine.

Also on the list are Margherita Maccapani Missoni, CEO of fashion brand Maccapani; Olivia J Singer, global editorial director of i-D and also formerly of Vogue and AnOther Magazine; Diana Louise Bartlett, the photographer who’s worked for The Cut, Comme Si, and Christopher Esber; Jessica Willis, fashion director at The Cut; and Tish Weinstock formerly of i-D and Dazed, and current contributing beauty editor for British Vogue.
