Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye was again the centre of attention on social media after Amakhosi parted ways with their head coach Molefi Ntseki on Monday.
The 38-year-old former superstar has been critical of his former club for years and, when Chiefs unveiled Molefi Ntseki as their new coach, Khanye said the club was heading in the wrong direction.
Before the end of the season, the former Amakhosi winger predicted that the Amakhosi coach would be axed before Christmas.

“Why did Chiefs appoint Ntseki as a head of technical and youth development when they made Arthur head coach?” Khanye asked in an interview with FARPost.
“Where does he get the experience to take out the best of players at an early age? Ensure that young and exciting players are promoted,” he said in July.

After a tough start to the season, Ntseki was hoping that the new Carling Knockout Cup could be his turning point but it was not meant to be as Chiefs were dumped out of the tournament by AmaZulu at the FNB stadium on Saturday evening.
That was Ntseki’s last game as the club decided to sack him after only three months.

Speaking on iDiski TV, Khanye said the 54-year-old should step aside.
“We need to be honest, the guy has lost the MTN8, and he’s not winning the league and today he just lost this cup(Carling KO). Clearly he is taking the team in the wrong direction, he must step aside,” he said on Saturday.

“According to me, this was his last game. I don’t think he’ll come back but if he comes back, he’ll be taking a big risk,” said Khanye.
