Cairo Santos scores all 12 Bears points in Chicago’s come-from-behind victory on Monday Night Football
After missing his first FG attempt of the night, Bears kicker Cairo Santos went 4-for-4 the rest of the way including the game-winner with 0:10 left. It marked Chicago’s first come-from-behind win in the fourth quarter since Week 1 of last season and snapped a 22-game losing streak in games it trailed at any point in the final period.
Excluding kneeldowns, Bears QB Justin Fields accounted for all 65 yards gained by Chicago on the game-winning drive (52 passing, 13 rushing). It marked Fields’ third career game-winning drive and first this season. The Bears scored all 12 points on field goals and became the first team across the NFL to win a game this season despite not scoring a touchdown. Such teams entered the night 0-28 this season.
Chicago intercepted a season-high four passes in the win, the Bears’ most in a game since Week 14 of 2018 against the Rams. Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs had never thrown more than two interceptions in a game during his NFL or college career.
The Vikings scored a season-low 10 points in the loss and their 242 yards were their second-fewest in a game this season. Minnesota’s two games this season with fewer than 250 total yards both came against Chicago (220 at Bears in Week 6).
