Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly changed the tune on the coaching requirements as the hunt for a new and permanent coach continues.
According to a report by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs are now open to hiring a coach that comes with his own backroom staff.
For years, Amakhosi would hire a coach and the backroom staff would be discussed between the same coach and the management.
For instance, Nassredine Nabi was unable to join Chiefs at the start of the season after he was denied an opportunity to come with his own technical team.
However, the publication reports that Chiefs are eager to allow whoever comes in as head coach to assemble his own technical team.

“Things have changed now. Last time the club wanted only the coach as they wanted to keep the same assistants and other members of the technical team but now they are open to a coach who is willing to bring his own backroom staff,” claims a source known to the publication.
COULD THIS FASCINATE PITSO MOSIMANE?
The reported developments at Chiefs could perhaps fascinate Pitso Mosimane who has and likes to bring his own technical team to any club he coaches.
For over a year now, Mosimane’s name had been linked with Chiefs but nothing has come out of those reports.
Mosimane, himself, previously confirmed receiving no call from Chiefs offering him a deal to coach them.
He’s currently in Saudi Arabia where he’s working on a difficult project to help Abha FC survive relegation.
Nabi, on the other hand, is currently in Morocco with AS FAR Rabat and he’s doing well as they top the Botola Pro League log.
