Kate, the Princess of Wales, has made her first public appearance since undergoing abdominal surgery and spending nearly two weeks in the hospital in January, according to a report by Good Morning America.
Kate, who is 42 years old, was photographed on Monday being driven by her mother, Carole Middleton, near Windsor Castle.
The photo was not officially released or authorized by Kensington Palace.

The new photo of Kate comes as speculation about her health and well-being continues to circulate online.
The mother of three and wife of Prince William was last seen in public on Christmas Day, walking to church in Sandringham with other members of the royal family.
Shortly after, in mid-January, it was announced that Kate had undergone planned abdominal surgery at The London Clinic. The palace did not disclose specific details about the surgery but confirmed that it was non-cancerous.
Kate spent almost two weeks in the hospital before continuing her recovery at her family’s residence in Windsor. Her discharge from the hospital on January 29 was one of the few updates shared by the palace.
Questions about Kate’s well-being intensified due to her absence from public view and her husband’s recent absence from a royal engagement.
A palace spokesperson confirmed on February 29 that Kate is recovering well.
The spokesperson addressed social media speculation about Kate’s health, stating that the palace would only provide significant updates on her recovery timeline.
It was noted at the time of her surgery that Kate is unlikely to resume her public duties until later in the spring.
Traditionally, William and Kate, along with their children, have been seen attending church together on Easter Sunday with other members of the royal family.
The royal family will also come together on June 8 for the Trooping the Colour celebration of King Charles III’s birthday.
The U.K. Ministry of Defense stated that Kate is expected to attend the event, although Kensington Palace has not confirmed her attendance.
