While other stars have sought to apologise for their actions, Kim Kardashian has received an immense amount of backlash after keeping an insensitive comment up online about the Princess of Wales following her cancer diagnosis.
On Sunday, the reality TV star and businesswoman shared a slideshow of photos to Instagram of her in front of various backgrounds with the caption, “on my way to go find Kate”.
Since Kate’s shocking cancer diagnosis reveal early Saturday morning, the social media personality — boasting 364 million followers on Instagram — has been slammed for its insensitivity.
The comments are filled with angry fans, with many demanding an apology.
“I think an apology is needed,” one wrote.
“She’s having cancer treatment… this didn’t age well,” another commented.
“You should probably take this down now,” one suggested.
This comes after actress Blake Lively apologised for a comment she made regarding Princess Kate’s photoshop saga.
The American star made the apology in an Instagram story after the news broke on Saturday.
“I’m sure no-one cares today but I feel I have to acknowledge this,” she wrote.
“I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy and, oh, man, that post has me mortified today.”
On March 13, Lively mocked the Princess’ photoshop fail while advertising her new drink in an Instagram post.
The since deleted post showed a purposefully badly edited Lively lying by a pool with her product in hand.
The Gossip Girl actress captioned it, “I’m so excited to share this new photo I just took today to announce our 4 new @bettybuzz & @bettybooze products! Now you know why I’ve been MIA.”
