Karnataka SSLC Pass Percentage 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 today, May 9, 2024. This year’s overall pass percentage recorded was 73.40 per cent, which is less when compared to the past year’s pass percentage. The Karnataka SSLC examination took place from March 25 to April 6, 2024, with over 8 lakh students participating. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 83.89%, with a total of 700,691 students passing. Among them, 359,511 were girls and 341,180 were boys.
KSEAB 10th Pass Percentage Drops; 78 schools Across Karnataka record zero per cent Results
After the declaration of the Karnataka SSLC examinations 2024 results, students are advised to contact their respective schools promptly to obtain their original mark sheets. This year’s pass percentage witnessed a significant decline to 73.40%, marking a decrease of 30 per cent compared to the last year. Approximately 78 schools across Karnataka reported zero percent results, with three of them located in Bengaluru.
Due to the low pass percentage in the Karnataka SSLC Result 2024, the qualifying marks for the examination have been reduced from 35% to 25%. Additionally, the board has increased the grade marks from 10% to 20% in the normalization process.

All those students who are not happy with their Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 can apply for re-totaling. However, if the student is still not satisfied with the re-totaling, they can apply for a photocopy of their answer sheets. The consolidated school result sheet and provisional marks cards will be available after 1 pm today through the school login on the KSEAB website https://kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Schools will be able to take printouts of these documents at their level. Additionally, the examination results will be announced on the same day in the high schools.
