Police are at the scene of a serious crash on the Kwinana Freeway just hours after a motorcyclist died in Como.
Kwinana Freeway heading south between Berrigan Drive and Armadale Road has been closed to the public as emergency services respond to a collision, which is believed to have occurred around 2pm.
It is believed multiple vehicles are involved and a motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries.
The exact details surrounding the incident, and the number of people injured, remain unknown.
A St John spokeswoman confirmed ambulance crews were at the scene.
Traffic on the Kwinana Freeway in the area remains extremely congested and commuters are urged to seek an alternate route.
It comes after a 47-year-old man was killed in a motorbike crash in Como on Thursday morning.

The fatal incident happened just before 9am when the man’s black Honda motorcycle was travelling north on Canning Highway.
Police say he collided with a black and grey Nissan Navara utility at the intersection of Preston Street.
The motorbike rider — a 47-year-old man — died at the scene.
