The news was announced during Friday morning’s broadcast.
The producer shared the exciting news live on air, announcing Patty had given birth to a healthy baby girl named Lucia.
Co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson rang the new parents at the hospital.
“Congratulations to Pedro and Patty on the birth of their little girl. He will be a great dad,” Sandilands said on air.
“I’m gagging bro! I’ve never seen so much s*** in my life!” Vitola told his colleagues.
The baby joy comes as Sandilands remains open about the potential of expanding his own family with his wife, Tegan Sandilands.
He previously said on air they were “definitely” keen to add another member, two years on from welcoming their son Otto.
The shock jock made the admission in June when a listener called in about a “psychic vision” he’d had about Sandilands.
“I saw a little baby embryo … and then a stick with a blue (line),” the caller said.
“Kyle, I think you’re expecting another baby.”
Sandilands didn’t seem too taken aback, saying the listener’s prediction was “definitely” on the cards.
“That could be possible, and we have spoken about adding another child to the household,” he said.
That prompted co-host Henderson to ask: “Is it possible (Tegan is) pregnant?”
“Well, yeah, I suppose it’s possible,” Sandilands said, before making a rather crude reference to getting busy in the bedroom with his wife.
“I’ll get her to check,” he continued.
“But yeah, we’re thinking about it.”
Otto, was born in August 2022.
Sandilands and Henderson recently signed a lucrative 10-year contract with ARN Media which will reportedly earn them $10 million a year — double their previous salary.
The deal will keep the duo on KIIS FM until 2034.
Sandilands and Henderson became on-air partners in 2000 and the Kyle & Jackie O Show was born in January 2005 on 2DayFM.
“I’ve never signed a contract for a 10-year deal before,” Henderson said on-air after the news was announced.
“Usually, it’s like three, maybe five at the most.
“You’re stuck with us guys.”
