In an important move for Lamara London, the footwear, accessories and apparel brand is set to launch its collection for the first time in the US with a listing at retailer Lord & Taylor.
From 5 February the digital collection will appear on the New York department store retailer’s Collective Store.
The expansive inclusion will feature house pieces across all product categories, “from bold tailoring reminiscent of the iconic 80s power suits, tops, mini and maxi dresses in ready-to-wear, to the 90s inspired style iconic baguette bags, mules and platform heels within accessories”. UK prices start at £100.
Founded in 2022 by Creative Director Lamara Roma, gaining Lord & Taylor as a stockist is clearly an important development for the brand.
It comes after the label has received some valuable publicity in key magazines from Bazaar to Hypebae, L’Officiel, Grazia, and Hello, among others. Its publicity drive has also been helped by it having been worn by big names and influencers including Emily Ratajkowski, Maya Jama, Amalie Gassman, Emilia Silberg, Federica Labanca and Emma Winder.
