Lewis Pullman: ‘I haven’t gotten a call’ about ‘Top Gun 3’

Unlike Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman is in the dark about the plans for “Top Gun 3.”

Pullman, 31, revealed in an exclusive interview with The Post that he hasn’t been contacted yet to reprise his role as LT Bob Floyd in the next Tom Cruise-led “Top Gun” movie.

“I haven’t heard hide nor hair about that,” the actor said while promoting his new crime thriller movie, “Skincare.”

“But,” he added, “I would be game to get back up in those planes and especially get back with those actors and those filmmakers. They’re all like family to me now.”

“So that would be fun to slip back into that again, but I haven’t gotten a call yet.”

Pullman starred in 2022’s “Top Gun: Maverick,” which was acclaimed by critics and grossed over $1.4 billion worldwide.

Powell, who also starred in the film as LT “Hangman” Seresin, recently revealed that he knows when filming for the third movie begins.

“I mean, I have a date,” the 35-year-old actor told Josh Horowitz on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast last month.

But when pressed for more details, Powell humorously responded, “Absolutely not,” and suggested they move on to the next question.

News broke in January that Paramount Pictures was officially developing a third “Top Gun” movie, with Cruise, 62, expected to return as the lead star and producer.

After working so closely with Cruise on the sequel, Pullman told The Post what he learned from the legendary actor.

“So many things, a plethora, you know, that I added to my toolbox. But I guess mainly the strongest one that I use every day is like, whenever you think you have it perfect, you can always get it better,” he shared.

“Skincare” follows a celebrity aesthetician named Hope (Elizabeth Banks), who is preparing to launch her own skincare line, when rival facialist Angel (Luis Gerardo Méndez) opens a new boutique across the street.

Pullman plays Jordan, Hope’s friend who helps her on a dangerous mission to discover who is trying to sabotage her life and career.

“It is quite different than anything I had done before,” the “Lessons in Chemistry” star told The Post about his role in the Austin Peters-directed film.

“I did have a lot of good input on some of the style, but then we had this amazing costume designer, Angelina Vito, who was just so collaborative. And we also worked with Austin about how we wanted to kind of design his [Jordan’s] whole look.”

Pullman described his character as “a sort of drifter, chameleon guy, who can kind of shift and into whatever the person he’s talking to wants him to be.”

“He was not just only shedding his clothes, but he was also kind of shedding this persona,” the actor added. “And you would get to actually see who he is. Truly.”

“Skincare” is out in theaters on Friday.
