LIVERPOOL icon Roberto Firmino is being linked with a shock return to the Premier League, according to reports.
The Brazilian, 32, left Anfield in the summer after eight years with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
When his Reds contract expired, he joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
And he made the perfect start to life in the Middle East by scoring a hat-trick on his debut.
But he has not bagged a single goal in his following 18 appearances as his switch to the Saudi side has turned into a nightmare.
Now talkSPORT understand Fulham have been “offered the chance” to sign the attacker.
Marco Silva’s men are keen to seek a replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic following his summer departure.
Raul Jimenez has bagged four goals in his last four Premier League games, but it remains unclear whether he is a long-term solution to their problem up front.
Sheffield United were also interested in Firmino before they sacked Paul Heckingbottom and brought back Chris Wilder.
But now the Cottagers are in the perfect position to sign the South American.
