Loewe names Jamie Dornan as its new brand ambassador

Loewe has unveiled Jamie Dornan as its new Global Brand Ambassador. The film and TV actor has already been featured in several of the LVMH-owned brand’s campaigns, and his first official ambassador campaign launches on Friday when the SS24 men’s runway collection imagery, photographed by David Sims, will launch.

Dornan was born and raised in Northern Ireland (as was Loewe creative chief Jonathan Anderson) and The Irish Times has hailed him as one of Ireland’s greatest film actors.

It’s an accolade that seems justified given that he’s been nominated for numerous awards and starred in key productions including Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast (2021), The Fall and The Tourist for the BBC, Branagh’s A Haunting in Venice and Netflix’s Heart of Stone (2023) opposite Gal Gadot. 

But he began his working life as a model and the two careers make him just about a perfect fit for Loewe.

Anderson said of him: “Having watched many of Jamie’s films and following his work closely, he was front of mind when we were thinking about a new ambassador for Loewe. I’ve always liked how his performances embody a sense of strength that feels very pure and organic.”

And Dornan added: “Nothing puts you at ease like being around people who understand your humour, your accent, and your ethos. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Jonathan — he’s supremely talented, creative, and incredibly down-to-earth. I’m very grateful and excited for this new role with Loewe.”
