Lucchese Becomes Official Bootmaker for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders

It’s a match made in Texas.

The Dallas Cowboys have named Lucchese Bootmaker the official boot of the team as part of an extended partnership for the next five years. Under the terms of the deal, Lucchese will create a special Lucchese x Dallas Cowboys collection.

For the past 13 years, Lucchese, which is based in Dallas, has designed the boots for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, who were the recent subject of the Netflix series “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.”

“The bond between Lucchese and the Dallas Cowboys as two Texas-based institutions is strengthened by our mutual appreciation of each other’s rich history and dedication to excellence,” said Doug Kindy, president of Lucchese. “This partnership is not the beginning of something new, rather, the continuation and strengthening of a joint legacy. Lucchese prides itself on championing our craft, which has made us the clear and prime choice for America’s Team. We both pursue excellence daily, and the cultural stature we each share will be compounded in our storied relationship.”

“The Dallas Cowboys value tradition and innovation greatly, both which have helped propel us beyond ‘sport’,” said Charlotte Jones, Dallas Cowboys chief brand officer and co-owner. “Expanding our partnership with Lucchese is a reflection of that innovation while sharing our core values of tradition and culture, respecting Lucchese’s long-standing heritage of craftsmanship and dedication to excellence. It’s a destined alignment of two beloved Texas-bred American institutions.”

There will be boots for men, women and, for the first time in Lucchese’s 140-year history, girls. The line will consist of four women’s models, two men’s and one for girls. The women’s offering will feature the Victory, Legacy, Five Point model as well as the Gina, which is patterned after the boots worn by the cheerleaders. The girls’ boot will be a mini version of that and will be called the Little Gina. The men’s line will offer either Victory or Legacy and all of the models will include the official Dallas Cowboys star logo.

Prices range from $275 for the Little Gina to $895 for the men’s legacy or women’s Gina. They will be available in navy, tan or white. The adult models are available for pre-order now, and will be in stores at the end of August. The girls’ boot will ship in October.
