Cops launched an urgent search for the dad-of-two after his disappearance.

Daniel, from the Drylaw area of Edinburgh, was seen walking by himself on High Street in the East Lothian town around 1.30am.

The last confirmed sighting of him was a short time later on Goose Green Place.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a grey, long-sleeved jumper with a white t-shirt underneath, dark-coloured jeans and black trainers with blue detailing.

Worried relatives reported him missing four days later when he hadn’t been in touch with family.

Police say an “extensive” search has been launched to find Daniel as officers say they are “concerned” about him.

Family members have urged everyone to keep an eye out for the missing dad in the hope of bringing him home.

One relative posted to the Missing People Scotland Facebook group: “Edinburgh is not the biggest of places surely someone knows something, surely someone’s seen or heard something!
