Millionaire charity boss Malcolm Day says he has found love again after falling for a Ukrainian beauty who fled the wore-torn country.
The Adultshop.com founder and charity boss debuted his latest romance with beauty Katya Roze at the 20th anniversary night of his Boobalicious Ball at The Crown Towers on Saturday night.
Beaming with Roze by his side, the 58-year-old WA businessman said he fell for Roze during a lads’ night out at the Claremont Hotel seven months ago.
Gushing about their romance, Day told PerthNow: “This gorgeous girl here is Katya.”
“She is my girlfriend. We have been dating for about seven months. She ran away from the Ukraine war in February last year and came to little old Australia.”
Day said he fell for Roze across the bar while out with his mates.
“We met at the Claremont Hotel on a Friday night at boys’ drinks,” he revealed.
The love affair comes after he split from his long-term partner, model Sophie Kerrigan two years ago, who he met during his charity night.
Day previously dated Tracey Jewel before her stint on reality TV series Married at First Sight, and prior to that was married to The Court Hotel publican and Penthouse Pet Bree Maddox.
Day explained how he stays youthful.
“I am enjoying life and staying fit and healthy,” he said.
“I live in Kings Park. I go boxing three nights a week. I walk around the park regularly and get down the beach a fair bit.”
Day reflected on 20 years of supporting women of WA fight breast cancer through the extravagant charity ball, which featured a lingerie catwalk show and avant-garde dance routine in front of 1050 guests inside the Crown Towers ballroom.
Expecting to raise $250,000 this year, proud Day said: “This is our twentieth year. We have come a long way since 2004.”
“The one thing we focus on is everyone having a great night. Last year we raised $263,000.”
“To date, before tonight we raised $2,463,880. Luckily I don’t forget numbers! One hundred per cent of the money raised goes to the charity,” he added.
“Last year we helped 1478 women in WA who were affected by breast cancer.”
“A night like tonight really helps. We don’t receive any funding from the State government. We run off the generosity of our donors.”
