ERLING Haaland is living in a fantasy world – after becoming a surprise new character in his favourite video game.
The Manchester City superstar, 23, is a huge fan of Clash of the Clans and from today players will be able to recruit him as the Barbarian King.
Posting on social media, Haaland said: “From the pitch to the battlefield!
“I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time and know everything about it, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool.”
It’s currently one of the world’s most popular mobile games and has been downloaded more than two billion times since it was first released more than a decade ago.
It sees players build their own village and launch raids against rivals in a power battle.
Stuart McGaw, general manager of Clash of Clans, said: “When we heard Haaland was a fan of our game and that he wanted to partner with us, it was really a dream scenario.”
