A man’s been killed in an alleged attack with a machete at a suburban service station in Perth’s north.
It happened about 4.15pm on Thursday when Western Australia Police say two men started fighting at the 7-Eleven on the corner of Mullingar Way and Hartman Drive in Landsdale, about 19km north of the Perth CBD.
During the fight, a third man allegedly stabbed one of the fighting pair with a machete.
Police were called to reports of an unconscious man and arrived to find him with “injuries consistent with stab wounds.”
The wounded man, aged in his 20s, died from his injuries at the scene.
A 28-year-old man has since been assisting police with their inquiries, but no charges had been laid as of midmorning Friday.
Inspector Vic Hussey told The West Australian newspaper that the incident led to Tactical Response Group officers raiding a property in the nearby suburb of Darch.
“This is an active investigation. We have several addresses of interest that we’re currently looking at,” he said.
“We potentially have a person we may be about to speak to, but we certainly have one person in custody at this stage, so there is more than one person involved in this incident.”

It’s understood a vehicle of interest was at the Darch address.
Forensic officers remained at the scene overnight.
Homicide squad detectives are asking anyone who saw the incident, or anyone with information, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
