A “very jealous” boyfriend allegedly shot his girlfriend and her teenage son inside their Manhattan apartment Thursday — and then turned the gun on himself, sources said.
Violence erupted inside a ninth floor home at NYCHA’s Johnson Houses when the gunman blasted his 40-year-old lover in the back of the ear and thigh, and shot her 19-year-old son in the torso and arm around 12:30 p.m. at 165 East 112th Street in East Harlem, according to sources.
The 45-year-old shooter then pumped a bullet into his own head, sources told The Post.
EMTs rushed the trio to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
The gunman was left clinging to life, while his girlfriend and her son were in stable condition, police said.
It’s unclear what led to the violence but cops received multiple 911 calls for domestic violence to the apartment in the past, according to sources.
A pal of the couple whose known them since childhood said the suspected shooter suffers from jealousy issues.
“He was always off the hook a very jealous person,” said the woman, who goes by the nickname “Harlem.”
The shooting left her rattled.
“It’s unreal,” Harlem said. “It’s devastating, but it’s a shock to us.”
