ALEJANDRO GARNACHO has been labelled a “hooligan” by German outlet Bild following his performance against Bayern Munich.
Manchester United were knocked out of Europe following their 1-0 home defeat to the German champions.
Bild were not impressed with the Red Devils’ showing with Rasmus Hojlund rated the worst player on the pitch.
But Garnacho was also subject to criticism as he was called a “hooligan” over an incident with Kingsley Coman.
Garnacho, 19, tussled for the ball with Coman before nudging the winger down the slope at pitchside and into the advertising hoardings.
That sparked a melee led by Harry Kane, who took exception to Garnacho’s lack of sportsmanship.
Fortunately, Coman escaped the incident unscathed as the referee got in the middle of the brawl and eventually continued with the game without punishment.
Bild use a 1-6 scale to rate players with – one is the best and six is the worst, with Garnacho receiving a four.
Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot were the highest-rated United players with three.
Garnacho has been one of few bright sparks for United this season with two goals and one assist.

But he has been teased by his Argentina team-mates over his love for Cristiano Ronaldo so much that he is reportedly too shy to talk.
Midfielder Leandro Paredes said: “We joked about it with him. He is very shy and does not answer.
“Poor guy, we drove him crazy. We also talked to him about what the group is, somehow we try to make them feel part of it and feel comfortable.
“Although in this case he got very nervous and couldn’t talk. But as he said, I think he is his idol, he always followed him a lot and he plays quite similar.
“So it’s normal, nothing happens. Obviously, when he comes to the national team he has to change a little bit because there is ours.”
