JASON DAY has revealed he was ordered to change his clothes by Augusta National officials before the second round of the Masters.
The Australian golfer is currently in a shared position for 45th place on the leaderboard, scoring eight-over par, as he heads into the tournament’s final day in Georgia, USA.

Day, who previously was sponsored by Nike signed a deal with Malbon earlier this year and wore a sleeveless top at Augusta bearing the words “No. 313 Malbon Golf Championship”.
But when the 36-year-old returned to play for round two his vibrant jumper was gone.
This caused speculation amongst fans over whether the Augusta National implemented their strict fashion policies.
And the Aussie revealed why he took off his jumper.
He said: “They asked me to take it off. Respectfully, you do that because it’s all about the tournament here, and I understand that.
“I respect the tournament. That’s what we’re here to do is try and play and win the Green Jacket. They said: ‘Can you take it off?’ I said: ‘Yeah, no worries.’”
Day returned on Friday morning to complete a delayed first round.
The former World No1 continued: “It came from Augusta National. I don’t know if it was a Green Jacket. I don’t know who it was. They asked and I respectfully took it off.”

And Day insisted he was not trying to make a point with the top.
He added: “I wasn’t trying to do anything. They [Malbon] just scripted me in it and I was wearing it.
“They send you the scripting and say, this is what we want you to wear Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and I’m like, OK.”
But this was not the only item of clothing Day was quizzed on after the 2015 PGA championship winner was pressed on his wearing of baggy trousers.
Although his attire has been associated with fishing waders, Day stood by his fashion sense, noting that it’s also a style worn by Tiger Woods.
He said “Tiger had baggier stuff on in the early 2000s. He did pretty good. I think it’s fine.”
Augusta National has been approached for comment.
