Men were ostensibly the ones celebrated at GQ’s Man of the Year party last night in Los Angeles, but Megan thee Stallion was the woman of the hour.
The Houston hottie herself graced the red carpet in a sexy, ultra-feminine dress by Istanbul-based designer Salih Balta and styled by Zerina Akers. The sheer brown dress looked like a piece of deconstructed lingerie: it featured a plunging neckline, cutouts at the waist and an open back. The precarious piece was held together by a halter neck and a thin strap around the waist, but largely seemed to be held together by sheer will and strategic taping.
The dress also featured thoughtful details, including well-placed black lace appliqué on the bust and waist, as well as around the hem. The waist was also covered in vampiric beadwork, small red rhinestones creeping up toward the bust like fire ants, and black droplets dangling off the waist.
Megan accessorized her look with a pair of strappy brown heels that matched her dress and glittering dangly earrings. Coordinating with the vampy dress, she sported a pair of long red fingernails, and piled her hair up onto her head.
While the night may have been about the men of the 2023, Megan thee Stallion looked every part a glamorous man-eater.
