Tyla got the ultimate “princess treatment” at the Met Gala this year.
The 22-year-old singer wore a custom Balmain gown inspired by “The Sands of Time” – hence why the Water singer carried an hourglass as a prop – with a fitting hourglass silhouette that revealed her nipples and a flowing bottom that dragged so long that she had to be lifted up by security intel to make it up the stairs.
Her stylist for the evening, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, revealed that the dress was made out of sand and sculpted to her body. The singer also had sand painted on to her arms to complete the look for her first-ever Mat Gala.
This year’s affair is being co-chaired by Jennifer Lopez, who stunned in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, Bad Bunny, who wore black Maison Margiela suit, and Chris Hemsworth, who glowed with his wife Elsa Pataky in golden Greek-god attire, with Vogue’s Anna Wintour at the helm.
