Like it’s sister site That’s TV, the newest addition to the channel list offers Sky, Freeview and Freesat viewers a chance to watch Home and Away from the very beginning.

The new channel debuted on Thursday 3 January.

It’s launch marks the 35th anniversary of the beloved Australian soap opera Home and Away.

That’s TV 2 will broadcast free-to-air across the UK from today, on:

  • Freeview Channel 65
  • Freesat Channel 181
  • Sky Channel 188 (But not on Sky Glass / Sky Stream)

Home and Away ran on ITV1 for 11 years before it was announced that Channel 5 had acquired the rights to broadcast it in 2000, where new episodes have been airing even since.

Earlier episodes of the Aussie soap haven’t been seen on linear telly in years.

It follows the closing down of the popular E! channel on Wednesday 2 January for Sky viewers, after more than two decades on air.

The US network was behind multiple popular reality shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Viewers can continue to tune into their favourite shows by switching to NBCUniversal’s streaming service Hayu.

It is available on most streaming devices as well as on your smart TV.

A monthly subscription will set customers back £4.99, though you’ll save in the long run if you opt for an annual payment.
