Dramatic footage of the incident, during a qualifying session of the motorcycle road race on May 9, shows several bikes passing down a road as enthusiasts watch from the sidelines.

One rider – Paul, from Castletown, Isle of Man  – can then be seen making a left turn before disaster strikes.

He collided with another rider, sending him careering towards a roughly waist-high wall, which appears to have been padded for the motorsporting event.

Upon hitting the barricade, he is sent soaring through the air, flipping a full 360 degrees at least two times before crashing back down to the ground.

Writing in a social media post after the accident, Paul revealed how he managed to miraculously walk away without suffering major injuries in the ordeal.

He said: “I’m all OK, just bloody sore.

“I was behind a rider and had just clicked 4th. I believe his bike cut out or something on the 1st right after the start.

“The marshals said the same thing too.

“He pulled to the left then looking over his left shoulder not knowing I was going round him and we collideed together.

“Unfortunately nothing I could do at that sort of speed.

“Big thank you to everyone for all support.

“All the medical staff did a cracking job.

“Went up around 25ft and landed in the garden on someone’s car.”

He uploaded images of the battered car, which was left with a sizeable dent and a damaged headlight.

He is due to race again at the Isle of Man TT in a few weeks’ time.

It comes after video revealed the shocking moment families narrowly escaped death when trucks crashed just yards away from them.

Video showed the chaos during the British Truck Racing Championship at Brands Hatch motor racing circuit in Kent in late 2023.

And in March 2023 the dramatic moment an out-of-control truck veered off a road, smashing everything in its path was revealed.
