THE SCOTLAND squad’s support squad got their reward at the end of Wednesday night’s draw with Switzerland.
Dreams of qualifying from Group A live on after Scott McTominay’s deflected goal helped hold Switzerland to a draw.
It could have been even better had Grant Hanley’s header not hit the post.
It truly was a hearts in mouths evening in Cologne.
But the point gave Steve Clarke’s team just enough hope going into Sunday’s crunch group game with Hungary.
But after keeping it tight against the Swiss, they held their loved ones just as close in a heart-warming celebratory scenes in the stands after full-time.

The Tartan Army have been roaring on Scotland through Munich and Cologne, and they’ll follow them again to Stuttgart for the big one.
But the players’ families and loved ones have been the special ones throughout the vast numbers of supporters in Germany – estimated to be well in excess of 100,000.
And the Wags and family members were rewarded for their love and support with passionate hugs and kisses from their Tartan Specials.
The players have been away in camp at Garmisch Partenkirchen for the past 10 days.
But they stole a quick minute with their Mrs’ and other close family members after the draw.
Andy Robertson led the link-ups, hugging wife Rachel and other family members kitted out in shirts with the captain’s name and squad number three.
Super John McGinn also hugged a young family member – thought to be his nephew – as he clutched a recovery Coca-Cola and caught up with more of his nearest and dearest.
Brother Stephen has been in both Munich and Cologne with his family to cheer on his little brother – and even caught up with Falkirk fans outside after captaining the Bairns to an invincible season.
But it was McGinn junior’s turn in the limelight and hugged one of his biggest fans wearing his shirt after the vital draw.
Elsewhere among the crowd Scotland’s No1 planted a smacker on his number one too.
Angus Gunn was spotted smooching his proud gal pal in the crowd moments after full-time.
Jade Kelly Mills grinned as she kissed and hugged the Norwich keeper who looked smitten with the dark-haired beauty.
Lawrence Shankland may only have been a late sub but he delighted his fiancee Nicole Curran who has been backing the Hearts man all the way in Germany too.

She had been spotted earlier this week with other players’ partners including goalkeeper Liam Kelly’s girlfriend Alisha Melford, Zander Clark’s wife Robyn and Mrs Kenny McLean, Brogan.
And the players’ partners are ready to follow their favourites all the way to Stuttgart for the Hungary clash that will make or break the campaign.
