“My grandmother left me her Beanie Baby collection,” he begins.

“I know it sounds ridiculous but she was a super big collector about this.”

The man said his grandma had first edition toys, and explained that one way to tell is by checking the label for a specific code of letters.

“If you take a look – it’s not always the case with all of them – but if you take a look it says PVC, which are the pellets inside,” he said.

“Some of the newer ones are PE pellets.”

The excited grandson then opens his laptop and reveals the incredible amount of money he could get by selling the two rare Beanie Babies.

He starts off by showing a 1996 pelican plushy toy, which was being sold for an incredible £33,000 on retailers like Etsy.

But nothing compared to a little purple teddy with a white flower embroidered on it – which can be sold to up to a whopping half a million pounds.

The Princess Bear was a special 1997 edition dedicated to the late Princess Diana.

“If you’re a Beanie Baby fan then you know that this is the first edition Princess Bear. Check this out,” the man shows before revealing the $665,000 Ebay price tag on his computer screen.

Social media users went wild after the shocking discovery, with many regretting having donated or selling their own Beanie Babies for much less.

One user wrote: “I gave away 4 beanie baby’s to goodwill and their worth THIS MUCH!”

“He’s set for life. Wow,” another commented.

But some have claimed the toys could not possibly be worth that much.

One person replied: “Just because someone asking that much doesn’t mean someone paying that much.”

Another added: “They are not worth a lot of money. Unfortunately.”

It comes after a rare hoard of trading cards have sold for an eye-watering £10,000 – and you probably own them yourself if you were a 90s kid.

The Pokémon collection contained a whopping 60 packs that were released in 2000.

They were expected to fetch £5,000 at auction, but the Neo Discovery Set – the first to be released in the UK – went under the hammer for £10,400.

The collection was in mint condition, with every card still astonishingly sealed in its original packaging.

There was also a Crossing the Ruins Japanese Sealed Booster Box in “excellent condition”, according to Ewbanks auctioneers.

The Woking firm also saw another sealed booster box sold for an impressive £6,240.

Even a set of 36 packs that had minor damage such as dents raked in a significant windfall.

A single trading card from the Team Rocket Unlimited Booster box was auctioned off for a staggering £2,470.

It featured the character Pikachu wearing a Charizard ponch and was an exclusive piece released in 2016.

A Charizard topper card in near mint condition also sold for just over a grand.

The priceless hoard even included a Pokémon promo CD which came with a pack of cards and this bundle went for £1,040.

It comes after a grandad who nearly threw out some old Pokémon cards that were stored in a cupboard could now make £20,000 at auction.

The 81-year-old paid £100 for the Pokémon Fourth Print Base Set Booster Box from a shop in Chester in 1999.

The box, which is still in its original cellophane wrapper, was kept in his cupboard for two decades before it was almost thrown out.
