Nadine Merabi’s first US store opens its doors in NYC

Nadine Merabi has opened its previously flagged inaugural US pop-up store, following its physical retail debut in the UK.

The company has opened in New York City’s Soho district at 112 Wooster Street. Currently carrying the spring/summer offer, it’s opened at a good time as the resort collection will be dropping later this month and its new bridal styles are included in the offer.

The company opened two stores in the UK late last year and said these were “successful”.

It added that it has seen strong demand from American consumers, where almost half of the brand’s sales originate, but that the Soho pop-up is still “a monumental leap” for it.

The label’s eponymous Creative Director said the debut is “a dream come true for us” and that “the vibrant energy of this city aligns perfectly with the spirit of Nadine Merabi. This physical space is not just about showcasing our creations, it’s a celebration of the craftsmanship and dedication behind each piece”.

As for the store itself, we’re told it’s “a captivating blend of monochrome simplicity, allowing the designs to command the spotlight”. 

CEO Blue Wilson, emphasised the brand’s commitment to its US expansion, saying: “Following the tremendous success of Nadine Merabi stores in the UK, bringing the brand experience to life in New York is a significant milestone for us and demonstrates the strong connection we’ve built with our American customers. This pop-up is not just a store; it’s a testament to our dedication to providing an elevated and immersive shopping experience.”

And Merabi and Wilson also said that offering customers “exhilarating, physical moments is more crucial than ever” in the current environment. These pop-ups are “just the beginning of the brand’s retail activation plan for 2024, with additional plans to launch exclusive wholesale partnerships across the UK and US throughout the year”.
