Nahmias is targeting the UK for spring with the opening of a space in Selfridges, London, that runs from this week until 10 May. The pop-up is significant as it’s the label’s first physical retail space in the UK.

The Los Angeles-based brand that’s known for its luxury pieces and celebrity fans is aiming to “captivate fashion enthusiasts with their blend of Californian edge and sophistication”.
Its eclectic designs can be found against the minimalist backdrop of the Men’s Designer Floor and we’re told it “creates a dichotomy of innovation and luxury”.
The SS24 Queens of the Coast collection is the focus. Inspired by “the Californian paradise of Rincon Beach, this collection offers a sun-kissed preview of summer for the UK”, which might go down well as an alternative to unrelenting grey skies and the rain in London (although the next few weeks should see some improvement).
Selfridges is one of London’s most popular destinations for luxury pop-ups, whether that’s its high-profile Corner Shop right at the front of the store or smaller spaces scattered around the London flagship. It’s a key target for shoppers visiting the West End, whether they’re affluent britons or international visitors.
The Nahmias pop-up debut comes in the same month as label founder Doni Nahmias has linked up with Andrés Reisinger in LA for a collab that sees them creating a part-gallery-takeover/part pop-up at the Maxfield store.
And Nahmias said that opening a boutique is the brand’s next major project.
