It’s National Margarita Day, which gives Texans an excellent reason to celebrate at their favorite place.
Where the margarita drink came from depends on who you ask.
Some suggest the drink might have started in a cantina in Ensenada, Mexico, while others enjoy the colorful story claiming San Diego as the birthplace of the first margarita.
Despite different tales about its origins, many in the Juárez-El Paso region tend to believe the margarita originated just south of the Rio Grande in this area.
More precisely, at the Kentucky Bar in Downtown Juárez.
Wherever you want to sip a margarita, here are some deals and promotions available Thursday.
