This exam was conducted to fill postgraduate seats in various medical colleges across the country. Subsequently, after a period of transition the AIPGMEE exams were replaced with the NEET PG exams.

NEET PG 2024: Check revised normalisation process

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will prepare the NEET PG 2024 results using a normalisation process similar to that used by AIIMS for other exams, including the INI CET. The normalisation process entails converting raw scores into percentiles to ensure fairness across multiple exam shifts.
Candidates’ final grades are calculated by first determining their raw scores and then converting them into percentiles. The top scorers, or toppers, are assigned a percentile of 100. All other candidates are assigned percentiles based on their relative performance. The top scorers in each shift of the NEET PG 2024 exam, which will be administered in multiple shifts, will receive a perfect score. To ensure precision, each candidate’s percentile score will be calculated to seven decimal places.
