How did candidates perform in NEET UG 2024 compared to last year?
In comparison to last year’s data of student performance, there was an increase of 15.2% in registered candidates in 2024 compared to 2023.This translates to an additional 318,617 candidates registering for the exam in 2024.
The number of appeared candidates also rose in 2024, with a 14.5% increase compared to 2023.
There were 294,701 more candidates appearing for the exam in 2024.
The number of qualified candidates also went up in 2024, with a 14.8% increase from 2023.
There were 170,292 more students qualifying for the next stage in 2024. Additionally there was an increase in registered, appeared, and qualified candidates was observed across all genders. The percentage increase was fairly consistent across genders. Here’s an overview:
