NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET UG Answer Key 2024 today, May 11. Medical aspirants who have appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 will be able to download the provisional answer key from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
The NTA conducted the NEET (UG) – 2024 for more than 24 lakh candidates at different centers located in 557 cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India on May 5, 2024 from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM.

The written exam comprised a total of 720 marks, with Physics and Chemistry each accounting for 180 marks, and Biology divided into Zoology and Botany, each carrying 180 marks.

Incorrect Attempt: -1 mark
Skipped Question: No marks awarded or deducted
Multiple Responses: -1 mark
This marking scheme ensures that students are awarded for correct responses, penalized for incorrect attempts, and not affected if they choose to skip a question. Additionally, to discourage guessing, a deduction is applied for questions with multiple responses.
