Netflix app to vanish from over 40 TVs next month – check full ‘kill list’ to see if you’ll lose access

NETFLIX is set to disappear from even more TVs than first thought.

Last week, the Netflix app was understood to be vanishing from 16 Sony TV models, and two generations of Apple TVs, in July.

Now that number has risen to 60 in total.

The streaming giant is ending support for dozens of TVs – even if you pay for a subscription.

The affected TVs are roughly a decade old, and due to technical limitations, can no longer host the Netflix app.

Netflix can be found on most smart TVs.

But as of next month, the app will be removed from another 42 Sony TV models, including:

The streamer will also reportedly pull its app from second and third-generation Apple TVs on 31 July.
