In a cruel reminder that online hate has real-world consequences, Logan Paul has revealed he feared his brother Jake would kill himself over hate he received online early in his career.
Jake rose to fame on TikTok precursor Vine while Logan made his career on YouTube. Today, Jake is a professional boxer and Logan is signed to the WWE.
Elder brother Logan, made the revelations on the Netflix doco Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child.
“I mean, both my dad and I felt worried for my brother’s life,” Logan said.
“Jake’s always been pretty emotionally unpredictable, and volatile.
“There was a point where we were both legitimately concerned that Jake was going to kill himself.”

Internet trolls loved to needle Jake early in his career where he would pull pranks and make hip hop music.
Jake was then signed to Disney show Bizaardvark before being fired after a news report about his neighbours making a complaint about noise from his pranks, parties, fire hazards and the large crowds of fans.
“It was easy to rip me apart,” Jake said.
“It became a thing to hate Jake Paul.
“It’s not easy to be hated by the whole entire world and it creates a very dark mental place.”
Boxing gave Jake new purpose and he’s racked up wins against some big names.
This weekend he will enter the ring against Nate Diaz.
